I call this knife my bougie knife. Not only is it gorgeous, but it’s the sharpest knife I have ever owned. And that’s saying a lot since I have had professional chef knives in the past. Not even they were as sharp as this knife. I would definitely recommend getting the cutting board that accompanies the knife for clean slices of your sourdough bread!

I’ve gotten several cutting boards and bread knives and I LOVE them! I use them all the time not only in my kitchen, but for my sourdough bakery as well! They also make great gifts and the craftsmanship is phenomenal!!

I recently had the chance to check out Insight Woodcraft, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Lou does absolutely beautiful work, using high-quality hardwood and putting incredible attention into every detail. You can tell each piece is truly handcrafted with pride and skill.

I met Lou at a craft fair and was immediately drawn to his booth by the beautiful wood products. Being a baker, I purchased a bread knife. With the knife, Lou provided conditioner for taking care of the handcrafted handle and instructions on taking care of the knife. I have not been disappointed! This beautiful knife slices my homemade bread into thick or thin slices without effort. It makes me look like a professional! I recommend Lou’s bread knives for yourself or as a gift. I also now have one that Lou engraved with my nickname “Miss Jelly “
